Surrey- A serious crash involving two semi trucks on Highway 17 in Surrey, B.C., has resulted in the closure of lanes in both directions. The incident occurred near 136th Street around 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported three individuals to the hospital. Their current health status remains unknown. The Surrey RCMP criminal collision investigation team, along with the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS), are investigating the cause of the crash.
The RCMP has issued a warning about significant delays in the area, with traffic blocked from 104th Avenue to Bridgeview Drive. There is currently no estimated timeline for when the highway will reopen.
