Surrey, BC – Rajvir Dhillon has been officially nominated as the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) candidate for Surrey–Centre in the upcoming federal election. Dhillon, a well-known lawyer with a successful practice in Surrey-Delta, expressed his gratitude to supporters and volunteers who contributed to his campaign.
“I am deeply honored and grateful for the trust you have placed in me by supporting me in my journey to become the CPC candidate for Surrey–Centre,” Dhillon said. “This achievement belongs to all of you — our dedicated volunteers, supporters, and community members who believed in our vision and worked tirelessly to make this moment possible.”
Talking with the ‘Surrey News’ Dhillon highlighted the key issues facing Surrey–Centre residents, including affordability, public safety, and economic opportunities. He pointed to rising living costs, economic uncertainty, and U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods as pressing challenges affecting local businesses and workers.
“Under the leadership of Pierre Poilievre, the Conservative Party is ready to restore common sense, remove barriers to prosperity, and fight for Canadian industries and jobs,” he stated.
Dhillon emphasized that while securing the nomination is a significant milestone, the real work lies ahead. “The next election is on the horizon, and I am ready to roll up my sleeves and fight for the values and priorities that matter to our community,” he said.
With a background in law and a strong commitment to transparency and accountability, Dhillon aims to bring principled leadership to Ottawa. He assured supporters that the campaign’s momentum will continue as he prepares to challenge the riding’s current representation.
“The best is yet to come! Let’s keep moving forward together,” he concluded.
