Mississauga, ON – Officers from the 12 Division Community Incident Response Team (CIRT) successfully recovered a stolen vehicle and laid multiple charges after arresting two men during a proactive patrol in Mississauga.
At approximately 8:00 a.m., CIRT officers located an occupied stolen Lexus NX 350 in the area of Goreway Drive and Brandon Gate Drive. As officers intervened to prevent the vehicle from fleeing, police cruisers sustained damage, and the two suspects attempted to escape on foot. Following a brief pursuit, both individuals were apprehended.
The suspects, identified as Bhawanjeet Singh, 23, and Gurdeep Singh, 28, both of no fixed address, now face numerous charges:

– Dangerous Operation
– Mischief Over $5000
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
– Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
Gurdeep Singh:
– Dangerous Operation
– Mischief Over $5000
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
– Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
– Possession of a Controlled Substance
– Breach of Release Order
Both men are being held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
