Surrey, BC – With just weeks remaining before Canadians cast their ballots in the federal election on April 28, a new Nanos Research tracking poll shows the Liberal Party strengthening its lead nationally.
The survey, conducted for CTV News and The Globe and Mail, indicates the Liberals have climbed to 45.9% support among decided voters — a 0.4 percentage point increase from the previous night. Meanwhile, the Conservative Party dropped a full point to 34.9%, trailing by 11 percentage points.
The NDP is polling at 9.2%, down 0.2 points, while the Bloc Québécois holds steady at 5.2%. The Green Party saw a bump, rising 0.7 points to reach 2.9%, and the People’s Party of Canada (PPC) remains unchanged at 1.4%.
The poll surveyed 1,248 Canadians from April 2 to 4, 2025, with a margin of error of ±2.8 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. Approximately 8% of respondents remain undecided.
These findings suggest growing Liberal momentum as the campaign enters its final stretch. All major parties are now focused on consolidating support and mobilizing voters in key battleground ridings.
