Surrey- Conservative Party of Canada has announced the official closure of nominations for the federal electoral district of Surrey Centre. Party members residing in the riding have received formal notifications regarding the nomination process and key deadlines.
According to the notice, the Executive Director and the President of the National Council have exercised their authority under party rules to finalize the nomination process. The close of nominations is set for Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 5:00 PM Eastern Time.
“Anyone wishing to become a nomination contestant must submit a completed candidate nomination application via the CPC Candidate Nomination Application Portal by the deadline. Additionally, individuals who want to be eligible to vote at the nomination meeting(s) must be registered Conservative Party members residing in Surrey Centre as of Friday, February 21, 2025. New memberships must be received by 5:00 PM Eastern Time on February 21, 2025.”stated in the Notice.
