Surrey, BC – Surrey RCMP responded to an armed carjacking on January 23, 2025, at approximately 5:05 PM in the 8700 block of 161 Street. Two suspects stole a blue 2009 Subaru Impreza at gunpoint. The victim was unharmed. Despite extensive searches, police were unable to locate the suspects or the vehicle.
This morning at 5:45 AM, the stolen Subaru was involved in a two-vehicle collision at Fraser Highway and the Langley Bypass. Witnesses saw the male driver flee on foot. The Toyota Tacoma driver was not seriously injured. Langley RCMP and a K9 unit searched the area but did not find the suspect.
