Surrey- The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a recall for a selection of plant-based drinks after discovering potential listeria contamination. Stores across Canada are instructed not to sell, serve, or distribute the affected products, which include items from the Silk and Great Value brands. Consumers are advised not to consume these drinks if they have them in their refrigerators.

– Package Size: 1.89 litre
– Best Before Dates: Up to and including October 24, 2024
– Universal Product Codes (UPCs): Specific UPCs for each product (not listed here)
Additionally, 1.75 litre containers of these drinks, also with best before dates up to and including October 24, 2024, are part of the recall.

Food contaminated with listeria may not show any signs of spoilage. Symptoms of listeria infection can include:

– Headache
– Stiff neck.
